Loom Foods Ghana Ltd is the group's brand and product development subsidiary, responsible for one of Ghana's most distinctive food brands: Ohenewaa. The subsidiary delivers premium edible sunflower and vegetable oils under the Ohenewaa brand, sourced from two of the world's most reputable edible oil manufacturers — AVES of Turkey and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad (KLK) of Malaysia. Both producers operate under stringent international food safety and quality management frameworks.
All food products carry full approval from Ghana's Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), and are distributed to supermarkets, market traders, food vendors and retailers across Accra, Tema, Koforidua and Kumasi.
Looking ahead, Loom Foods has exciting plans to extend the Ohenewaa brand into rice, mackerel, sardine and other complementary food products for Ghana and the broader West African sub-region — positioning Ohenewaa to become one of Africa's most recognised homegrown food brands.
